The scheduled church workday took place as Hurricane Irene approached from the south. James Dick, Peter Edmonds and Ken Stern braved the rain and wind to make playground repairs, change ceiling lights, clean gutters and work on drainage. Despite electric power tools (in the rain) and really tall ladders the day proceeded safely. Thanks, guys!!
